Arriving in Toronto, Canada - 01/05/2016
After more than a year hard work our moment supreme is finally upon us. All participants of Beyond Frontiers have safely arrived in Toronto and are shining of enthusiasm. But although everyone has had a good flight, the flights were not entirely without problems.
Berjan was selected by the border control for a special treatment in a small, dark room. His passport was nit valid for six more months after entering Canada. Luckily, after some lubrication, he was still allowed to enter the country. But with the note that with this passport he could probably not enter the USA.
The hostels are pretty dominated by the sheer amount of jolly Dutchman and woman. The owner of our first hostel told us that he likes Dutch guests because we know how to have a good time and not thrash the whole place. Unlike the Irish or the Aussies.
Coming week we have a busy schedule with nine visits to companies and universities. Luckily, because Toronto is not that big and interesting a place. We are excited and we will keep on touch!
